St Francis de Sales has a Parish, School, and Preschool. They had existing and separate websites for each, some in better shape than others. They desired a total refresh with a new branding that could be used consistently throughout, while still allowing each entity its own separate website and autonomy. A fresh start with a warmer look and feel to capture their active and diverse community and provide dynamic and essential information.
Connected Life Sites created a branding for the Parish, School, and Preschool and a new WordPress website for each. The websites shared a common brand strategy, while maintaining uniqueness to each. The new websites are fully mobile responsive and filled with photos to provide a warm and colorful feel to the site. A custom Cloud Application was created to manage a shared calendar that could be filtered and could import events from the existing internal facilities scheduler. Custom tools were also provided to simplify various tasks such as uploading Sunday bulletins, faculty and staff photos and bios, and other content. A news blog was provided on the home page, as well as a custom integrated feed for displaying the daily Mass readings. Prior to the new site, a Cloud Application was created to manage the Volunteer Service Hours for the school and its families.
